The on-site pharmacy, and how it works alongside your appointments.
Queens Road Pharmacy shares the building with the surgery, just a few steps from reception. If you choose, a prescription written during your appointment can be dispensed before you leave, and the pharmacy team is there to talk through any medicine you take, whoever prescribed it.

The pharmacy opens slightly later than the surgery on weekdays and stays open later on a Saturday morning. Both sets of times are on this page, and the surgery’s can also be found on the contact page.
Prescriptions and repeat prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions are ordered through the surgery rather than the pharmacy. Phone reception on 01534 733322 after 11am, email your request, or order through Patient Access, and please allow 48 hours. Anything urgent or needed the same day has to be arranged by phone.
Prescriptions are collected from reception, and you are free to take yours to any pharmacy you choose. If you’d prefer, just let reception know and we’ll be happy to pass it to Queens Road Pharmacy here in the building
