Who to call

In a life-threatening emergency call 999

Call for an ambulance straight away. Do not wait for the surgery to open.

While the surgery is open

Give reception a call on 01534 733322 and they will be able to offer you an appointment or ask the duty doctor to call you

We are closed on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and bank holidays, when the out of hours service (JDOC) covers the Island.

When the surgery is closed

  • 6:00pm to 8:00am, weekdays
  • 12:00pm Saturday to 8:00am Monday
  • Bank holidays

Urgent appointments are still available with the Out of hours service (JDOC).  The clinic is based at the Hospital and is for patients who need advice or medical care while the surgery is closed. If you are housebound they can also send a doctor to visit you. You can reach them by calling the surgery telephone number or 01534 445445
