Childhood Immunisation

The routine childhood vaccinations, given on schedule and recorded in your child’s Red Book. Clinics run three times a week, morning and afternoon.

Overview

Routine vaccinations are given in a dedicated clinic rather than fitted into a general appointment, so there is time to talk things through and to settle a child who would rather be anywhere else. Two of you are welcome to come in together.

Bring your child’s Red Book. Every dose is written into it before you leave, and it is the quickest way for us both to see what has been given and what is due next.

Not sure what is due?

Call reception before you book and we will check your child’s record first. If a dose has been missed, say so when you ring. It is very common, and it changes nothing about how you book.
