Dr Nesma Elgohary has come to join the team for the next 12 months working under the supervision of Dr Klaber and Dr Le Gresley. Nesma has spent the last year working in the hospital in the Emergency Department and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. While she is new to General Practice she has been a doctor for many years and brings a lot of experience but is getting up to speed with how we do things in Primary Care.

Steven Perchard qualified from St Bartholomew’s in 1995. He trained as a GP in East London, which included an attachment at St Joseph’s Hospice as well as hospital experience in psychiatry, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology. Whilst in Jersey he has been involved in the provision of care for patients at Alcohol and Drug Clinics. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and skiing.

After qualifying from Guy’s and St. Thomas’s hospitals in 1999, Richard went onto pursue a career in surgery completing posts in Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedic and General Surgery. He obtained his post graduate qualification in surgery before switching to General Practice in 2003. He joined the practice in March 2007 and is now a full time partner.
He continues to enjoy performing minor surgery and has an active interest in travel medicine and dermatology. Outside of work, Richard enjoys competing in triathlons.

Philippa Bashforth joined the Practice in 2007. She trained at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals medical school in London. After completing her medical training she took further qualifications in general medicine and has a specialist interest in chronic conditions and elderly care. She also has a keen interest in family planning , contraception and menopause care including the fitting of the contraceptive coil.
Outside of the surgery, she enjoys sea swimming, running, cycling, skiing and playing padel with her family.
